Responsibilities

1. During the pitching process, the Graphic Designer is responsible for creating a variety of designs needed to enhance the sales presentations. The Graphic Designer must be able to base his/her work on the creative brief and deliver within often tight deadlines. Frequently, the quality of these designs is the deciding factor of whether or not the agency wins the project.

2. Once the projects move into production, the Graphic Designer should develop the design required such as the communication materials (Key Visuals, invitations, floor plans etc.) but also the production items (backdrops, decorations, etc.) These designs should be provided ready-to-use by the agency’s vendors (printers, production-house, etc.) to guarantee smooth execution.

3. The Graphic Designer should support the design of the company’s marketing materials (website, brochures, etc.) as well as the regular working tools (name cards, etc.)

Qualifications & Abilities

1. Position open to Chinese nationals & foreign applicants eligible to a Work-VISA.
2. A bachelor degree in design required.
3. Proficient in Adobe Suite including Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign + MS Powerpoint.
4. 3D design skills and motion graphic skills are preferred but not essential.
5. Video editing skills are preferred but not essential.
6. At least 2 years full time design experience in at an international event/PR/Adv. agency required.
7. Fluent English required (spoken and written).

1. Meet & exceed the annual sales target The Event Planner shall reach and exceed the annual sales target.

2. Generate pitches The Event Planner shall generate pitches for new projects by 1) maintaining close relationships with existing clients and 2) developing new clients opportunities.

3. Converting pitches into actual sales The Event Planner shall work closely with the agency teams (creative strategist, design, production, talents & Marcom) to build presentations and budgets in order to close sales. The overall look of the presentation and the quality of the wording are as essential as the creativity and thoroughness of the content to differentiate Riviera from its competitors.

4. Project production overall management Once projects are signed, the Event Planner will hand-over them to the Project & Talent Management teams. However, the Event Planner will keep overseeing the production and guarantee the clients agreed-on expectations are met. Once the project is finished, the Event Planner will take over again and sell the following events to the client.

5. Manage Business Development interns Event Planner should manage the hiring and training of the Business Development interns.

4.Stays up-to-date on market trends and research in terms of style, materials & manufacturing processes.

Qualifications & Abilities
