Waldorf Astoria “Meet Me at the Hyphen” Charity Ball
The Waldorf Astoria Hotel in Beijing embarked on a magical time travel as they held their annual charity ball called “Meet Me at the Hyphen”. Symbolising the wonderful golden age, the event transported guests through the eras of Broadway 80’s and Beijing where they experienced various movements with music, dining and entertainment. The Guinness book of World Records was challenged during the event as chefs created a 1.6-meter ‘Red Velvet’ Macaroon tower, the world- famous treat invented by Waldorf themselves. The event provided a chance to dine and dance in two great eras all in the name of charity. Riviera Beijing enjoyed supporting with event management and production and look forward to working with The Waldorf Astoria, Beijing again for this wonderful occasion.
