The Brand New Anren Biennale coming to Chengdu.

The art scene in Chengdu is about to get a whole lot bigger, with a brand new biennale coming to the well-preserved and historical city. The Anren Biennale will launch it’s first ever exhibition on the 1st October and aims to establish a relationship between the past, the present and the future. Heading up the artistic direction for the inaugural event will be the President of L-Art University, Lu Peng, whose works have been previously featured in the Venice Biennale. Four different projects will be curated under the theme of ‘Today’s Yesterday’, with over 120 Chinese and international artists showcasing a multitude of artistic expressions. Our office in Chengdu looks forward to following the progression of this biennale and seeing how it will enhance the creative scene in the
West of China.
