It’s all hands on deck for China’s travel industry
China’s booming travel market is becoming more and more sophisticated as the amount of inbound & outbound travel has skyrocketed over the past few years. The shift has been a result of the growing number of curious travellers keen to set off on their voyage around the world. During this phenomenal growth, travel sectors such as the cruise industry are supporting the ongoing boom in their efforts to shape the future. Although China is not often known to be a traditional market for cruise construction, it looks like things are about to change, as a new joint venture with Carnival Corporation is on the horizon. Plans are in place to launch the first ever cruise ships built in China, which will be specifically designed to appeal towards Chinese travellers. We are looking forward to seeing these new vessels slide into service in 2023.
