Tech is stealing the show at Fashion Week

September has well and truly served as the Fashion Month with so many events all over the world from New York all the way to Paris. During this four-week period, we are always on the lookout for the fashionistas pulling off their boldest outfits and the designers sharing their seasons creations. It is interesting to follow the evolution of fashion and to see it’s development in today’s society with the continual introduction of new and exciting technology. Across the global fashion circuit this year, there has already been a number of designers implementing a mixture of tech and digital launches into their programmes, from wearables to chat bots and even facial recognition. Closing the London Fashion week today will be Tommy Hilfiger – Tommynow, who has big plans to combine digital and tech with entertainment for their finale. We can expect to see chat bots on hand to provide styling advice and the audience can even use augmented reality to bring the catwalk interaction to life.
