Responsibilities

1. Support developing business for the agency through driving new client opportunities and maintaining close relationships with existing clients.

2. Assist with building presentations and budgets for clients, bringing together ideas from the agency’s design, production and show teams.

3. Stay on top of the latest trends within the event industry, driving creativity and offering clients cutting edge solutions that differentiate the agency.

4. Assist with the production and onsite delivery of events and ensure it is inline with the agreed-upon expectations.

5. Support Event Plannning team to achieve the annual sales targets set by Area Manager.

Qualifications & Abilities

1. Bachelor degree required. International experience preferred..

2. Fluent in English and Chinese required (spoken and written).

3. At least one-year working at an international Event/PR/Advertising agency or a hospitality group is required.

4. Passionate about events and creating unique experiences for guests.

5. Strong PowerPoint and Excel skills (proficiency in design software is a plus).

6. Attention to detail.

7. Ability to work in a team with clear communication.

8. Responsible, can be held accountable for tasks.

1. Assist with updating website content for Riviera & Stelliers.

2. Assist Marketing Manager & Copywriter with managing freelance translator.

3.Weekly analysis of on-going campaigns, social media and newsletter platforms and contribute to weekly internal marketing presentations.

4.Liaising with other offices to create the company’s Internal Newsletter.

5.Manage and update the agency’s contact database and event photo archive.

6.Have your finger on the pulse and keep up to date with popular news and trends around China and worldwide that Riviera can report on.

7.Assist with following up with Event Planners’ on post event briefs, photos and videos.

8. Contribute to new campaigns/content brainstorming.

9.Support with any other project work (eg. CSR, Marketing, Website related)

Qualifications & Abilities

1.Bachelor degree (in business or marketing is preferred, but not required).

2.Highly proficient in English (Chinese language is a plus).

3.Passionate about marketing.

4.Attention to detail and hard working.

5.Ability to work independently as well as in a team, with a willingness to learn, share experience and findings with other team members.

Generate pitches The Intern Event Planner shall support the Event Planner generate pitches for new projects by developing new clients opportunities.

Converting pitches into actual sales The Intern Event Planner shall work closely with the agency teams (creative strategist, design, production, talents & PR) to build presentations under the supervision of the Event Planner.

The overall look of the presentation and the quality of the wording are as essential as the creativity and thoroughness of the content to differentiate Riviera from its competitors.

The Intern Event Planner will experience face-to-face meetings with clients of the agency.

Qualifications & Abilities

1. Local or foreigner with a bachelor degree (or undergoing) required.
2. Fluent English required (spoken and written).
3. Candidates must be passionate about events, about creating unique experiences for people.
4. Candidates must have strong PowerPoint skills (proficiency in design software is a plus), a synthetic mind, an outstanding attention to details.
5. Strong interest for branding, lifestyle, luxury and new trends is required.
