While Mandarin Oriental Wangfujing, Beijing hosts multiple terrace events each year, the Tequila Sunset Terrace Party marked the official start of the summer season – a celebration set high above Beijing’s cityscape. With our event planning team leading the experience, every detail – from technical production and entertainment to on-site execution – was designed to impress.
A Night of Artistry and Atmosphere
As guests arrived and took in sweeping views of the Forbidden City, the evening opened with a striking runway show. Bold silhouettes and rooftop glamour set the tone.
Dancers mingled with the crowd before taking centre stage for a dynamic lineup of performances that flowed seamlessly throughout the night.
Modern ballet artist Wang Jiabao, from the National Ballet of China, captivated the audience with a powerful solo – graceful yet edgy. As night fell, the terrace lit up with LED flag and fan dances, adding bursts of colour and motion.
Contemporary twin dancers brought striking, modern energy before a live DJ took the celebration into full swing, carrying the rhythm late into the night.
