The Premier League brought its energy and spirit of the game to Jalan Besar Sports Centre, with a vibrant community football event designed to celebrate the league and inspire the next generation of players.

Welcoming around 90 participants, the event brought together children, media representatives, and two Premier League legends, Nemanja Vidić and Joe Cole, for a memorable day of football, connection, and inspiration. Young participants enjoyed friendly matches and exclusive training sessions led by coaches, creating an engaging experience that combined fun, learning, and the excitement of world-class football.

For this event, EPL once again trusted Riviera Events to manage all branding and logistics aspects, ensuring every detail was set up as planned and the event ran smoothly on the day itself. From preparation to execution, Riviera delivered seamless support to help bring the Premier League experience to life in Singapore.

Football Legends Join the Event

The event was elevated by the presence of two legendary footballers:

Nemanja Vidić 

Former defender best known for his illustrious time at Manchester United (2006-2014) and with the Serbia national team. Vidić made 300 appearances for Manchester United, winning 81.69% of home matches, and was instrumental in the club’s success during his eight-year tenure.

Joe Cole 

Former midfielder best known for his time at Chelsea and with the England national team. Cole won three Premier League titles and two FA Cups with Chelsea, scoring 28 goals in 184 matches for the club, and represented England 56 times between 2001-2012.
