A Grand Opening in Seletar Aerospace Park
To celebrate the new facility in JTC’s Seletar Aerospace Park, Barnes Aerospace hosted a vibrant launch event. The programme featured performances and presentations reflecting the company’s forward-looking vision.
Renowned journalist Sharanjit Leyl, former anchor for BBC, served as MC. She guided the audience through the evening’s key moments. Guests were treated to a Lion Dance by Yi Wei Athletic, 2023’s Lion Dance World Champion. The energy and colour of the performance added cultural richness. President Ion Reason then took the stage with a powerful keynote outlining the company’s goals in the region.
Ceremonial and Cultural Highlights
The event included symbolic traditions to honour the local culture. The ceremony began with “Pineapple Rolling,” a gesture symbolising prosperity and abundance in Singapore. A Ribbon Cutting followed, led by company executives and special guests. This marked the official opening of the new facility.
