Chilli Fest Thailand 2023

Chilli Fest, Thailand’s first-ever fiery food festival, sizzled with a scorching celebration of the iconic capsicum genus. Held at the prestigious Kimpton Maa-Lai Bangkok Hotel, the event drew in hundreds of attendees, all eagerly embracing a hot and tantalising experience. From renowned chefs representing the chilli-infused cuisines of Mexico, China, India, Indonesia, Thailand and more, to captivating entertainment, the festival ignited taste buds and delighted food enthusiasts.

Elevating the vibrant ambience, dynamic entertainment took to the stage, with DJs, live music bands, a dance performance and mesmerising fire show, all of which enthralled attendees. An adrenaline-pumping chilli eating contest and chilli glass house added further allure to the festival atmosphere and showcased an eye-watering array of chilli varieties from all around the world.

What’s more, Chilli Fest 2023 brought together a constellation of culinary stars, showcasing the talents of world-class chefs and esteemed Michelin-starred eateries, including the likes of Chef Deepanker Khosla of Haoma; Chef ‘Ton’ Thitid Tassanakajohn of Le Du and Nusara; Chef ‘Tap’ Supasit Kokpol Iron Chef Thailand challenger and founder of Restaurant Coda Bangkok; Chef ‘Toi’ Pillion Kamnag of Saneh Jaan, amongst others.
