To welcome 2026 in style, Four Seasons Hotel Bangkok at Chao Phraya River entrusted Riviera Events’ event planning team in Thailand to deliver a fully immersive New Year’s Eve celebration themed “Himmapan Forest” – a theme rooted in Thai mythology and rich with live storytelling, music, and refined hospitality. From the elegant welcome experience to the choreographed countdown and fireworks show, the event brought together ~800 guests in a seamless celebration of beauty, creativity, and connection along the Chao Phraya River.

A Mythical Forest Comes to Life

To mark the close of 2025, Four Seasons Hotel Bangkok at Chao Phraya River envisioned a New Year’s Eve celebration that went beyond luxury hospitality, creating an immersive, story-driven journey through the mythical Himmapan Forest. Riviera Events was honoured to bring this vision to life through full event planning and coordination, from creative production and performance flow to technical setup and guest experience.

Inspired by celestial legends and natural wonders, the Himmapan Forest theme unfolded across riverside venues with symbolic performances, atmospheric music, and dynamic energy that built toward a dramatic countdown.

A Night of Immersive Storytelling

Welcome Experience

Guests were first welcomed by floral-inspired minglers representing nature’s beauty and warmth, including fantastical creatures like Makareephon and Kinnare. These characters set the tone for an enchanted evening ahead.

Main Performances

Two centerpiece performances captivated the audience:

• Mekhala vs Ramasoon: A dramatic riverside performance portraying the legendary celestial chase of light and thunder.
• Garuda – The Light of Himmapan Forest: A powerful performance symbolising strength, protection, and light after the storm, leading guests towards a hopeful New Year.

Music & Countdown

• A live band performance at the riverside created a relaxed and elegant festive atmosphere.
• DJ performance guided the energy from evening celebrations through countdown and post-fireworks festivities.
• A coordinated countdown moment featuring all performers.
• A fireworks display over the Chao Phraya River, marking the arrival of the New Year and creating a strong emotional highlight for guests.
