The Kimpton Maalai Hotel in Bangkok turned up the heat this April with its fiery second edition of the Chili Fest, a gastronomic celebration that showcased the sizzling wonders of chili-infused cuisines. This vibrant festival gathered top chili chefs from around the globe and local chili-focused artisans, offering a scorching array of dishes that set taste buds ablaze. 

Set against the chic backdrop of Kimpton Maalai, the 2024 Chili Fest was not just about tasting spicy foods; it was an immersive experience designed to highlight the hotel’s exceptional hospitality and accommodations. The festival transformed the venue into a bustling marketplace of flavours, with over 1,081 guests navigating through various interactive stations, from spicy cooking demonstrations to the adrenaline-pumping chili eating contests. The Kimpton Maa-Lai’s lush event spaces buzzed with energy as live bands set the soundtrack, a free chili tattoo stand added a touch of permanent memory, and a spectacular fire show lit up the evening.
