A Tranquil Coastal Escape

Nestled along the serene shores of Hainan Island, Shangri-La Sanya welcomes travellers with a warm, home-away-from-home experience. To elevate this seaside retreat and position it as a year-round destination, our event planning team in China collaborated with Shangri-La Sanya and the Hong Kong headquarters to create The Bloom—a vibrant concept celebrating sun, sea, and relaxation.

Culinary Delights in a Night Market Setting

At the heart of The Bloom lies a Southeast Asian-themed night market. This culinary haven features 16 stalls, nine live cooking stations, two bars, and four arts and crafts booths. Each element delivers a sensory journey, offering guests authentic tastes, aromas, and interactions from across the region.

Entertainment for the Whole Family

Beyond its food offerings, The Bloom invites families to enjoy a variety of immersive activities. Guests can try off-road karting, gather around nightly bonfires with live entertainment, or relax under the stars at the outdoor cinema. These moments turn a simple evening into a shared memory.

Visual Wonders and Cultural Details

Visitors enter The Bloom through colourful floral gateways and find photo-worthy installations like a giant elephant and a soaring hummingbird. From handcrafted umbrellas to Southeast Asian-inspired cushions, every detail has been thoughtfully designed—from sourcing materials to final setup.

A New Landmark for Haitang Bay

Together with the Shangri-La team, our Shanghai event planners shaped The Bloom into a standout destination in Haitang Bay. This project brings regional hospitality to life in a fresh, engaging way. We look forward to seeing The Bloom enchant visitors through the end of 2024.
