In the heart of one of Shanghai’s most iconic districts, the Waldorf Astoria on the Bund blends historic elegance with modern luxury. Formerly the Shanghai Club, this landmark hotel preserves its heritage while offering stunning views of the Huangpu River.

A Holiday Celebration to Remember

To welcome the festive season, our team in China partnered with the hotel to produce a glamorous tree lighting ceremony. The event brought together media, loyal customers, and friends of the brand for a joyful evening of celebration.

Guests enjoyed an engaging one-hour programme filled with entertainment and festive cheer. The evening began with an energetic dance performance by the City Rockettes. Shortly after, speeches were delivered by the General Manager and representatives from the Hilton Corporate Office.

Moments of Magic and Joy

As the night unfolded, surprises delighted guests at every turn. Santa made a cheerful appearance, walk-about characters interacted with attendees, and flurries of snow created a magical winter ambiance — right on the Bund.

To complete the experience, guests indulged in festive canapés and free-flowing bubbles, all while enjoying the hotel’s beautifully decorated surroundings.
