Premier League Celebrates New Beijing Office

As the world’s most popular football league, the Premier League has fostered strong connections with Chinese fans, football institutions, and local partners. Recognising China’s passion for the sport, the Premier League celebrated a key milestone: the official opening of their new office in Beijing. Our event planning team in China proudly supported this exciting development, marking a new chapter in the league’s engagement with Chinese football, authorities, stakeholders, and partners at all levels.

A Momentous Opening Celebration

The first part of the celebration took place at the China World Hotel. Here, the Premier League renewed its partnership with the Chinese Football Association through a new Memorandum of Understanding (MOU). Paul Molnar, Chief Media Officer at the Premier League, alongside President Song of the Chinese Football Association, delivered opening remarks. The event also featured a star-studded panel discussion with Premier League legends Michael Owen, Nemanja Vidic, and Sun Jihai, as well as CSL coach Wang Dongni.

Premier Skills Coach Showcase

To further highlight the Premier League’s community-driven efforts, the second part of the celebration moved to the Workers’ Stadium. There, a Premier Skills Coach Showcase was held. The event featured practical sessions for 35 grassroots coaches, led by club coaches from Leicester City, Manchester United, Tottenham Hotspur, and Wolverhampton Wanderers. On the final day of a four-day Coach Development course, over 80 local schoolchildren participated, demonstrating the impact of football education at grassroots level.
