W Macau, a dynamic addition to Macau’s vibrant landscape, is renowned for its bold design and innovative approach to hospitality. As part of the esteemed Marriott International’s W Hotel brand, this luxurious hotel made a grand entrance into the scene. Our event management team in Shanghai played a pivotal role in orchestrating this memorable experience, collaborating closely with W Macau to create an unforgettable Countdown Event leading up to its grand opening.
The Countdown Event served multiple purposes, acting as an internal orientation and training session for the staff, while also providing a unique platform to celebrate the hotel’s imminent grand opening and showcase its exceptional facilities. This high-energy occasion unfolded in the Studio City Grand Ballroom, a fitting backdrop for the festivities. Attendees were addressed by key figures in the industry, including Benoit Racle, Vice President of Global Brand Management for W Hotel; Dominique Colin, Senior Manager of Brand Management for W+ Collection Brands at Marriott International; Linbo Lin, Director of Luxury Openings for Greater China; and Adrian Chan, the General Manager of W Macau, who set the stage for the excitement ahead.
The event featured a Wardrobe Reveal, offering a sneak peek at the stylish uniforms that would adorn the hotel staff, a Pep Rally to boost team spirits, and a Brand Immersion experience, ensuring that every team member fully grasped the essence and ethos of W Macau.
Our event planning team in Shanghai was thrilled to provide essential support in terms of graphic design, production solutions, onsite execution, and communications. We take pride in asserting that our expertise played a vital role in making the Countdown Event a resounding success. Thanks to our efforts, W Macau was well-prepared to welcome its first guests with open arms on the grand opening day.
